E4 was the Maketards' first solo mission. I wasn't sure I would survive the ordeal, but Kris was in LA, and the show had to go on. Plus, I had always wanted to make a duct tape wallet/purse/holder-of-all-things-essential, but Kris had already been there and done that, so I did it all by myself. Who's your big girl? It's me!
The project was fun, even though it was sticky, and frustrating, and smelled vaguely like sesame oil.
Here are the items you'll need:
-2 different colors/patterns of duct tape
-Sharp scissors or razor blade or exacto knife
-Strong magnets or velcro with adhesive backing
-Bling of some sort and a way to attach it (a Bedazzler, perhaps)
-Patience
-An adult beverage (to enjoy responsibly if you're 21+)
First, create a sheet of duct tape (10" x 13" ish) with a different pattern/color on each side. Leave enough tape exposed on the top and bottom edges to fold over, creating a neat edge. Then cut the ugly crap off the sides and finish with a strip of the color of tape that will show on the outside of the purse.
Next, create the sides of the purse, starting with a 3" strip of tape on the inside just below what will be the top flap. This is hard to explain. Your best bet is trial and error. Good luck.
Then, tape magnets on the underside of the flap and their corresponding spots on the front of the purse. Here, you can also use velcro with adhesive backing. You could also make the flap large enough that it would not really need secure closure.
Finally, add any shiny stuff that catches your eye. I found a screw-on, metal skull and crossbones in the leather-working section of Michaels, but you can glue on buttons or bows or you can Bedazzle the hell out of it. Go crazy.
So, that's that. I like the flexibility of this project because you can make it as big or small or simple or complex as you want it to be, depending on how patient or anal you are.

Episode 3: Toes to tits
This week, the Maketards familiarized themselves with a tool that could change the world: The Bedazzler. This shine-enhancing device is more majestic (in theory, not in practice) than a topless angel riding a griffin that farts fairy dust. The Bedazzler and its tiny, shiny, 4-pronged nuggets of goodness took over the Maketard workshop and everything in it. I mean, we bedazzled the hell out of some shit! It was a dream come true for us. We decked out a few special items that we felt needed a little extra zing:
Ribazzle
Bemitten
Lipstazzle
Toilet Pazzle
DVDazzle
Strazzle
Band-Azzle
Tea Bazzle
Tampazzle
Vitamazzle
Plantazzle
Condazzle (to protect you from STDazzles)
Orangazzle
Try it at home. What crazy crap can you improve with a little sparkle?

As usual, there are some important things that aren’t in the video, which is why I will tell you to do as we say, not as we do. Now, keep in mind that this project requires you to do more screwing than a viagra warning label allows, so use proper precautions, and do this...

What happens when you let Kris out in public
We were in the store whose name rhymes with "schmarget" looking for supplies and happened upon this gem. Sadly, we couldn't find a price tag so it had to be left behind.
Are you ready for episode 1? It's bound to be killer.
